SEN Teacher – Specialist School

Education Matters Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a specialist school in Twickenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who can deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and create a supportive learning environment where pupils with additional needs can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching strategies to help them achieve their potential.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
• Monitor progress and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide effective support.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and structured classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must hold QTS.
• Have experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally within a specialist setting.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be patient, resilient and adaptable.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
