KS2 Class Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a new opportunity to inspire and support young learners?

We are currently recruiting a KS2 Class Teacher for a long-term position at a primary school in West Molesey.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging lessons, promote academic achievement and create an environment where pupils feel confident, motivated and supported throughout their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Support pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning abilities.
• Establish clear classroom expectations and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupils’ academic and personal development.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6).
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for pupils with varying learning needs.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
