EMG Quote of the Week – Education for the next generation!

Quote Social Media Graphic - 35. Jean Piaget

Ever had that experience of your parents or grandparents telling you about school in their days? And now do you find yourself doing the same? For me personally I have had parents that really value the education system and value the skills taught. I suppose I picked this up and have passed this on to students I have taught. My aim is often to prepare students for life, wanting them to have a better experience and learn skills that were far more advanced than what I learnt at school. And with this in mind, I would always try to refine and improve the process to make sure my teaching is better. Now this is not always possible but on most occasions, where there is an intentional reflection to how you are operating as a teacher, you will continue to provide excellent lessons and learning experiences. From these experiences your hope is that students become equipped for an ever changing  world and become adaptable.
